Adelaide Narrative Therapy Collective is proudly affiliated with the following therapists/teachers.
Sarah Atkinson is an accredited professional through the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). With a background in Narrative Practices for about 10 years, she has also trained in, delivered training and learnt from the Hearing Voices Movement. She has experienced working in the public mental health system as a social worker and a narrative therapist, which has led particularly to developing a developed a strong interest in trauma and the impacts it can have on people’s lives and learning how people’s own skills and know-how can lead to building personal agency over life.

She collaborated with Maggie Carey and Rob Hall from Narrative Practices Adelaide developing and running two workshops. Narrative Therapy and Neurobiology in Responding to Trauma (Feb 2018); and Narrative Approaches to Supervision – Creating Spaces to Re-invigorate Professional Identity (Sept. 2018).
Sarah offers online services only (currently living in remote Arnhem Land), in both counselling and supervision.
